周純卉以陶瓷雕塑為媒介，探索「怪」的多元宇宙，透過土的捏塑以及超現實的想像力，打造一系列打破常規的角色與情境。
「社會的怪」、「動物的怪」、「生活的怪」抑或是「神怪」，讓人重新思考：「什麼是怪？」
周純卉用其獨特的視角與創作語彙，向每一個「與眾不同」的人致敬。所謂的「怪」其實是一種獨特的存在，而這些特質才真正構成我們的個體價值，並讓我們擁有千奇百「怪」、多元文化、有滋有味的大世界！
歡迎所有「怪咖」與「不怪的咖」一起來觀賞這場充滿想像與反叛精神的陶瓷雕塑展。
Using ceramic sculpture as her medium, Rhea C. explores the vast multiverse of “weirdness.” Through the molding of clay and boundless surreal imagination, she creates a series of characters and scenarios that defy conventions.
From the “weirdness” of society, animals, and everyday life to the supernatural and mythical, her works provoke the question: What does it mean to be weird?
With her unique artistic vision and language, Rhea C. pays tribute to everyone who stands out from the crowd. In her view, being “weird” is simply a mark of individuality—one that shapes our personal identities and enriches the vibrant, diverse, and wonderfully strange world we live in.
Whether you consider yourself a “weirdo” or not, come and experience this ceramic sculpture exhibition filled with imagination, rebellion, and bold creativity!
▌藝術家介紹 ——
周純卉，1986年生於台灣，2009年於輔仁大學織品服裝學系服裝設計組畢業，2018年習陶至今。
做過櫃姐，也曾擔任大明星的服裝設計師；在菜市場賣過肉乾，也去過收容所當動物照顧員；曾是演員、模特兒，卻也投入偏鄉教育，陪伴孩童與弱勢族群——周純卉的斜槓人生無限跳Tone，豐富多變的經歷塑造了他獨特的創作視角，交織出對生命深刻的反思與鮮明的自我主張。看似叛逆，卻能透過精心雕琢的細節，感受其細膩而真摯的情感。作品常帶黑色幽默——時而振臂疾呼、熱血沸騰，時而娓娓道來、意韻悠長。
Born in Taiwan in 1986, Rhea C. (Chun-Hui Chou) graduated from Fu Jen Catholic University’s Department of Textiles and Clothing in 2009, specializing in fashion design. She began working with ceramics in 2018 and has continued ever since.
Her career path has been anything but conventional—she has worked as a fashion sales associate and a celebrity fashion designer, sold dried meat at a traditional market, cared for animals at a shelter, acted and modeled, and even taught children and underprivileged groups in remote areas. This ever-evolving, multi-faceted journey has shaped her distinctive artistic perspective, weaving together deep reflections on life and a strong personal statement.
Her works may appear rebellious, but they carry an undeniable sense of delicacy and sincerity. Through intricate details, she tells stories infused with dark humor—sometimes bold and fiery, other times subtle and poetic.
